HIGHLANDER (1986) Fluffenbusters Commentary

The immortal Big D and an audio-challenged* Adam stick on the 80's classic HIGHLANDER to discuss how this unique film captured lightning-in-a-bottle story elements, but was then undermined by it’s own penny-pinching producers, resulting in sequels that became the stuff of Hollywood nightmares. From cinema flop to home media staple, the guys also discuss the Highlander TV series, and the way it injected more lore around this film’s intriguing concept…. All the while, struggling to remember names, getting film facts mixed up, adding random tangents and basically doing what old nerds do. They also cover the remake-in-progress (with everyone’s favorite 40k fan Henry Cavill) and explain why this is such an ideal film to update. *Sorry about the audio at the start….
